:: About the Conference

The 21st International TELLSI Conference and the 6th International Conference on Language, Discourse, and Pragmatics (LDP) are annual events that aim to bring together scholars from various parts of the world to discuss issues in relation to language and pedagogy. This joint event welcomes contributions that deal specifically with the impact of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) on English language education.

TELLSI 21st and LDP 6th also invite researchers to submit their abstracts coping with principled approaches to language-related concerns other than SFL. Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (Iran) will host this joint event in 2025 from February 5 to 7.

With the major theme of TELLSI 21st and LDP 6th centered on the impact of SFL on English language education, we aim to promote research and highlight the implications and applications of SFL on English language pedagogy.

This event will create opportunities for researchers around the world to exchange knowledge and sociabilities as well as develop new research networks. Owing to possible financial and other personal restrictions, the event will run in hybrid mode, with both online and onsite presentations.
